Description

Join us on January 27, 9-11:30am, for our second Racial Equity Learning Community (RELC) Event, Profiles in Activism: Harnessing the Power of Collective Action in Your Organization. Come be inspired by local activists who are working to create change in our city, including:

  • Sarah O’Connor: JOIN (Jewish Organizing Institute & Network) for Justice Fellow at St. Stephen’s Youth Programs
  • Laura Gonzalez: Activist at City Life/ Vida Urbana
  • Kevin Lam: Organizing Director at Asian American Resource Workshop
  • Cole Parke: LGBTQ & Gender Justice Researcher at Political Research Associates
  • Mea Johnson: Community organizer in Dorchester and Mattapan with a sustainable housing focus for residents

Following the panel discussion, participants will get the opportunity to meet with each panelist in small groups to learn more and think about how to become activists in their own organizations.

Registration is required for this event. To help us cover the cost of having amazing panelists the price is $15 for one person from an organization and $25 for two. If you have any questions, please email Rebecca Jackson at rjackson@trinityinspires.org or Alicia Ridenour at aridenour@trinityinspires.org.
